In February, character toy designer and retailer Yamato Co., Ltd. will release “Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?” Skull Squadron Bike Helmets with Roy Focker and Hikaru Ichijo versions.

The motorcycle helmets are designed like the pilot helmets worn by Roy Focker and Hikaru Ichijo in Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? Based on the Blower helmets by long-time helmet maker Tachibana Co., Ltd., the helmets come in Roy Focker’s signature yellow and Hikaru Ichijo’s red, and they can be used for actual riding.

This summer, Yamato sold life-size display models of U.N. pilot helmets that faithfully recreated the design as seen in the anime. The company decided to develop the new helmets in response to the many customers who said they “want a helmet we can actually wear.”

The new helmets are priced at 38,640 yen each. All are built-to-order, and orders will be taken until November 30. You can only buy them at Yamato’s Online Shop.
