Mouse Computer, which has its own direct retail outlet in Akihabara, has created the new “demee” brand and began selling the Hello Kitty Music Player on September 19.

This first product in the demee brand lineup to go on sale features a Hello Kitty motif to welcome the character’s 35th birthday this year. You can replace Kitty’s trademark red ribbon with a flower that comes with the product, and her yellow nose lights up whenever you use the controls. You can also change Kitty into a pink "Bear Ears Kitty” or a black “Devil Ears Kitty” by putting on a silicone case (sold separately).

The player, priced at 5,980 yen, has 2 GB of memory and can play music for up to 10 hours straight.
