Vocaloid Compilation CD Featuring Hatsune Miku Voices Released - Tracks Played Nearly 30 Mil. Times

On June 17, Minato Ward-based record label Quake released a new album in CD stores in Akihabara and elsewhere: Exit Tunes Presents Vocalostar feat. Hatsune Miku.
The CD is a compilation of 17 songs recorded with Vocaloid including “Roshin Yukai” (meaning “Nuclear Meltdown"), “Saihate” (meaning “The Farthest Reaches”), “Rip=Release” sung by Megurine Luka, and “from Y to Y.” According to the company, songs from the album had been played over 28,296,000 times at its website as of May 1.
The album made the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking’s Top 10 after its release. Is the day approaching when Vocaloid will be more popular than real singers?
