Do you like Yakiniku? In case you don't have a grill around but feel like roasting up some beef you can do so at least virtually with the incredible Air Yakiniku. The developers treat their creation like an actual restaurant going as far as including aprons for print out so no mess will happen on your keyboard.

The sound and visuals are so real that one can almost smell the smoke rising from the screen and for those who are too impatient to wait and try to move the meat a slapping sound with a crossed chop stick symbol will appear, lecturing the fool to patiently wait until it is time too eat.

The New York times was wondering in their post if this is some social critic arty statement or if this was simply a marketing gag. However, having lived in Japan a few years now I'm sure that a decent amount of passion was involved in the creation as the concept goes perfectly with sense hungry Japanese. Therefore it does not come as a surprise that there are follow ups like a online bar that is only open during regular business hours.
