After a trailer of Team Ico's highly anticipated game so far titled TRICO: The Last Guardian was shown during E3 fans were eagerly waiting for more details.

In the last edition of Famitsu the father of the previous Team Ico milestones Fumito Ueda talked about the new game in great detail, revealing as much as the name of the giant creature as Oowashi, meaning big eagle. Gamewise it seems as Ueda previous statements pointing toward a basic similarity to Ico are showing it's foundation when he is quoted saying that the player will be able to interact with Oowashi for example by pulling out enemy 's spears from his body, thereby maintaining your relationship with it. He also said that his movement and behaviour will be unpredictable which sounds reminiscent of Yorda's following birds or running around aimlessly in Ico. however this time it's pointing more into a direction where the player seems to be training or even parenting the giant creature to a flexible degree. Also you will need to learn the creatures behaviour and use it to your advantage.

The Tokyo Game Show in October is now the event all Team Ico fans' eyes are pointed at.
