Adorable Characters Help Treat Phimosis

In May, ITEC, a seller of phimosis treatment tools, launched its “Hokei-tan no Hokei Chiryo Dottocomu!” (meaning “Hokei-tan’s Phimosis Treatment.com”) website featuring the adorable character Hokei-tan as its mascot. The company has also begun selling a new product, the False Phimosis Correction Tool: Kumakki Hokei-tan Ver.

The product features Hokei-tan, “a girl who'll do her best to cure your false phimosis." She wears a nurse uniform and accessories shaped like Kumakki (ITEC’s phimosis treatment tool). The company reportedly employed an anime character to help young men distressing over phimosis feel a sense of familiarity and comfort.

ITEC plans to add more new characters to its products and website.
