While Pokemon fans were rubbing their eyes to the fact that Nintendo did not release any information about the Pokemon Gold and Silver remakes during the E3, they found relief during the airing of last weeks Pokemon Sunday. The DS versions of the classic titles, titled Heart Gold and Soul Silver, that started the craze and stole giant chunks of our youth will be more than just a graphical update. Similar to Nintendo's Power Walker health software, the game will be bundled with a Pedometer divice called the Poke Walker. It looks like a Pokeball and serves as a tool to train a Pokemon simply by walking around. Additionally to gained EXP and affection from the Pokemon, all steps from the user will be generating "watts" wich in turn can be used to find items and catch wild Pokemon. After the training session the data needs to be transfered to the DS via infrared port. 

Other than the Poke Walker, the game looks to be fairly similar to the good old 8 Bit versions with the same start up Pokemon and the usual male or female choice for the main character. No info has been given on the Priing so far.
