People who have been to Akihabara know that it's not a place like anywhere else. Therefore it shouldn't come as a surprise that the local Blood Donation center presents no exception regarding the now almost mandatory Moe injection. About a year and a half ago they even had a special Maid Blood Donation event which recently got another mention inside an article in the Yomiuri Shinbun (print) that caused many curious people and Otaku alike to go and check if anything similar could still be found during regular donation procedures. So much that the donation center saw the need for a special sign outside proclaiming that "No Maid Activity Whatsoever !" was to be found upon entering the place. As a logo they use a cute Anime-like "Blood-Character".

 

 

 

However, if one entered anyway the spirit couldn't be denied. There is Asuka in a maid costume sitting on the counter in figure form and loads of free to read manga indicate that this place more than anything has turned into an Otaku hangout, where free drinks wait after a little bit of...well, blood.
