Those that went certainly were not disappointed. There were cars, buses, trucks and bicycles all modified to either hurt or stimulate the senses, depending on the eye of the beholder. Attendants were mostly of the later and enjoyed loads of Lucky Star, Haruhi but also a couple of classic anime characters like those from Cowboy Bebop put on the vehicle in form of giant stickers. There even was a special Macross corner were original Itasha stickers were on sale amongst other items. 

 

Later that day the idols from Akihabara's Dear Stage went on to sing and dance, receiving a forceful Otagei (idol fans' passionately choreographed dance moves)  performance in response.

 

 

 

The undisputed king or queen of the event however was the mentioned Ferrari Spider with the, especially on 2ch, popular characters dancing the uma uma dance, putting the icing on the wonderful cake that is Itasha
