Mangazenkan, a japanese mailorder service for Manga that recently also ships overseas a lot published the sales ranking for October 2008. It seems that a lot of long time classics like Slam Dunk or 20th Century Boys are still outselling many newcomers.

One has to keep in mind that this shop sells Manga only as complete sets and especially customers from europe appear to be on the rise. Maybe improving their japanese? Bloody Monday has enjoyed a big boost by being turned into a TV drama, so has the ever popular Slam Dunk by receiving a detailed mentioning by a famous comedian. Also One Outs is enjoying a popular manga re-release accompanied by a TV anime adaptation.
