Figure Maker: Organic

posted 08/10/17

Organic held a special press event to present their new product line up with a good portion of it about to get oversea distribution by Organic's foreign offices that are so far based in in Los Angeles, France and Korea.

As a regular at japanese press events one finds himself surprised to see Sponge Bob, Spiderman and Mad Max products next to the latest anime figures from series like Blassreiter or Macross.

Another surprise was that "Mimi" the cosplaying Idol responsible for the opening track of "Catblue Dynamite" who was also attending was fluent in english. Romanov Higa's CG Anime "Catblue Dynamite" is being shown on Crunchyroll free to see for all members. It appears as Organic is aggressively trying to expand into the foreign markets, something most bigger companies are trying to do but don't seem to accomplish every time. The atmosphere was relaxed and many new products were to be seen, some even appearing at early production stage and therefore uncolored.

Figures on display were by Ikki Tousen, Galaxy Express 999, Ghost in the Shell, Blassreiter and various others. The infamous Tachikoma could also be seen with fully articulated arms and legs.

Organic was established in 1997 and is one of the largest toy and figure makers in Japan with a strong focus on anime and manga. Recently they are aiming for foreign customers by creating alliances with overseas companies. In collaboration with Kayodo they also are also releasing Fräulein Revoltech figures like Asuka from Evangelion for the U.S market.
