posted 08/10/03

If you like cats and even more if you like cat paws you might enjoy the new cat paw sound devices released by Epoch last month. The popular voice actress for the Vocalod character Hatsune Miku (Saki Fujita) recorded some cat sounds which can be enjoyed in the new Puni Puni Switch cat edition.

Modeled to resemble real cat paws with soft hair and a real "meaty feeling" bound to please those who enjoy playing with paws. Similar to the Puchi Puchi Moe which would emit various anime character themed voices when pushed this one will do the same but with various cat sounds. There is the obligatory secret voice too and as we heard it is supposed to appear every 29th time you push the cat paw that this secret tone will be revealed.

There are 5 versions including the "meow" sounds of a white, a black, a striped, a tortoise patterned and a tiger cat all with different characteristics revealed in their sound and paw appearance.

A company spokesman said that due to Saki Fujita being the voice used for the decive, preorders where pouring in and demand can hardly be met.

The price is 580¥.
