To commemorate the japanese launch of Electronic Arts' war game "Battlefield: Bad Company" the american company will tie up with Akiba's well known maid cafe "Pinafore." The First Person shooter roughly centered around a group of 4 antiheroes engaging on a hunt for gold nuggets was released in Japan on August 23rd. and since then some of the staff can be seen wearing s special military outfit consisting of a khaki shirt and a pair of shorts.

Like it is popular these days for product themes there is also a special menu like military style food (1000¥)- of course japanese style - consisting of a special blend of rice and fried soba noodles (yakisoba). There are non alcoholic cocktails as well called "Sweet water" and "Marlowe" (1000 ¥). Visitors can obtain a special Pinafore military card  depicting the staff in the unusual attire.

Guests are encouraged to not mistake the grenade on the table with a real one attempting a panic stricken throw out the window and running under the maids skirt for cover.

 The event will last until September 7th.
