This is something Rockman fans - or Mega Man fans in the west - have been waiting for wether they knew it or not. The infamous energy tanks from the game series have actually gone into mass production in "can" form so that even mere mortals that don't have a canon transformable arm can get a boost of energy when ever they are feeling down.

To commemorate the release of the classic style "Rockman 9 Yabou no Fukkatsu" maker Apris will have these cans on sale starting the end of august. Consisting of a sports drink with apparently enhanced with some jelly buds the taste should be rather japanese but it won't be a hindrance for the Rockman fans that will by those drinks just for the cans alone.

It appears that the can was made with reference to the dojin CD "air man ga taosenai" (airman just won't die) that was quite popular last year, as the lyrics implied the use of an e-tank to archive victory.
