Gunpla Contest in Akihabara

For the 10th time now Ascii Media Works will hold the Gunpla Contest in Akihabara. Fans and modelers are to bring their works to the venue located at "Akiba Space 6.0".
The contest running under the name "Dengeki King of Gundam Modelers championship" will have people from all over Japan show off their creations like kits, georama (landscapes) or scratch works to a big audience before being judged in various rounds. There will be two leagues divided by age. The first will be consisting from ages up to 12 and the second one anyone over that. Both groups will engage in a contest throughout the event lasting 2 Days from August 23 until the 24th.
The contest will also be held in Hong Kong or Taiwan, two places popular for inhabiting many more gunpla fans.
