"Yamazaki" is already known for their gigantic selection of bread ususally sold at convenience stores. This time though it is a rather unusual treat they offer their customers as a special limited summer item.
 
The soft and gooey bread actually tastes like cola just las the character on the package is implicating. A spokesman said that the product was created in cooperation with Family Mart convenience stores, leading to exclusive production for their franchise. "It is a summer item only and will be gone after about 1 month" he said.
 
At the same time "Ito-Pan" from Satitama created their version of fluffy sweet bread, this one sporting the refreshing flavor of lemonade. One wonders what other new flavors japanese companies will come up with during this year.
